Overnight Chia & Oats

Breakky that’s ready and waiting for you in the morning. Perfect when you need to fly out the door – and have plenty of energy to kick-off your day.

Serves 1. You’ll need:
1/3 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp seeds e.g.chia/sunflower/pumpkin
1/2 banana, mashed
2 tbsp chopped raw almonds/walnuts
Pinch ground cinnamon
Pinch ground ginger
1/2 cup milk of choice (I like almond)
Optional extras: more milk, nut butter, coconut, yoghurt, maple syrup, fresh seasonal fruit, a few sultanas……whatever you like really : )

Mash banana with a fork in a jar or a container with a lid so you can refrigerate overnight.

Add all dry ingredients and mix well.

Add milk of choice and stir until well blended.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

In the morning, remove from the fridge, stir & add any extras you want.

And go!
